Care & Maintenance
Counters
Use a neutral, ph-balanced cleaner that is
specially formulated to be used on stone on a regular basis
to remove residues from cooking oils and everyday food spills,
as well as hairspray or other cosmetics.
Columns & Exterior Wall Tiles
We recommend that you clean columns and exterior
wall tiles with a clean, non-treated, dry dust cloth.
When pressure cleaning, use a neutral, ph-balanced
cleaner that is specially formulated to be used on stone.
CAUTION: Water pressure must be regulated
to ensure no stone damage.
Flooring
We recommend that you frequently sweep or
dust mop all interior stone flooring using a clean, non-treated,
dry dust mop. Sand, dirt and grit do the most damage to any
natural stone surface because of their abrasive characteristics.
Use of mats and area rugs inside and outside of entrances
will help minimize potential damage that can be caused by
these materials.
When damp mopping, use a diluted solution
of a neutral cleaner specifically designed for stone floors.
CAUTION: Be careful not to walk on wet stone
floors as they can be very slippery.
Interior Wall Tiles
For wet areas such as kitchens, laundry rooms
and bathrooms, we recommend use of a neutral stone cleaner
that will remove soap scum or hard water deposits. Using a
squeegee daily, specifically in bathrooms, will help minimize
hard water deposits and soap scum buildup.
Such stone cleaners are available for daily
and weekly use to help keep Magnum® Stone maintain its
timeless beauty.
Window Sills
Use a neutral, ph balanced cleaner that is
specially formulated to be used on stone on a regular basis
to remove common food or drink spills.
Frequently dust all window sill areas using
a clean, non-treated, dry dust cloth.
